Through advanced packaging techniques, the LED chip is directly mounted onto the PCB board and covered with an even layer of phosphor coating, producing soft, uniform light that effectively eliminates the 'mosaic' graininess typical of traditional SMD LEDs. The encapsulation material also provides comprehensive protection for the chip, conferring excellent moisture resistance, dustproofing, impact resistance, and scratch resistance. This significantly enhances product reliability and stability, ensuring long-term, stable high quality even in demanding environments.

The COB LED strip features high-performance adhesive backing. This robust adhesive provides exceptional adhesion and durability, ensuring the strip adheres firmly to various clean, dry surfaces (including aluminium channels) without sagging or detaching over extended use. This reliability simplifies installation and guarantees long-term stability.

To enable precise custom installation, the COB strip features dedicated cutting points (cutting lines) at extremely short intervals. Exceptionally high luminous flux density and brightness

COB technology directly encapsulates LED chips onto the substrate at densities dozens of times greater than SMD, forming a highly concentrated light-emitting surface. COB light strips typically offer high colour rendering index options as standard, with common CRI values exceeding 90. Premium models can achieve CRI ratings above 95 or even 97.

180° Wide-Angle Illumination

The 180° light dispersion angle of COB strip lighting represents a breakthrough beyond conventional strip lighting limitations. This eliminates shadowed areas that create discontinuous lighting patterns and removes the need for multiple overlapping strips to compensate for illumination gaps. Luminescence uniformity	Chips directly mounted on the circuit board technology, the distance between the chips is very small, the light-emitting points are dense, light-emitting uniformity, almost can not see the obvious dark areas or bright spots.	The individual SMD lamp beads will be mounted on the circuit board, there is a certain interval between the lamp beads, the outline of the lamp beads may be seen at some angles, and the luminous uniformity is relatively poor.
Brightness and light effects	The chip is directly connected to the circuit board, which reduces the optical loss of the traditional lamp bead package, and can make better use of the light emitted by the chip, with higher light efficiency and brighter light strip.	Lamp beads have encapsulated structure, there will be a certain amount of light blocking and scattering, part of the light in the encapsulated body is absorbed or reflected, resulting in relatively low light efficiency.
Thermal performance	The chip is in direct contact with the circuit board, the heat dissipation path is short, the heat can be more quickly conducted from the chip to the circuit board, and then through the heat dissipation measures to emit, the heat dissipation performance is better, which is conducive to prolonging the service life of the strip and maintain a stable luminous performance.	Lamp beads and circuit boards are connected through pins or solder joints, heat transfer is relatively complex, the heat dissipation path is long, and the lamp beads are prone to overheating when working at high brightness, affecting their performance and life.
Flexibility	Better flexibility and ability to be used at smaller bending radii without damage.	The lamp bead has a certain volume and hardness, when bending, the connection part of the lamp bead and the circuit board is easy to be affected by stress, resulting in cracking of the solder joints or damage to the lamp bead, so its flexibility is relatively poor.
Consistency of appearance	The surface is relatively flat and smooth, there is no obvious bulging lamp beads, the appearance is more simple and beautiful, especially suitable for places with high requirements for appearance.	The lamp beads protrude from the surface of the circuit board, during the installation and use of the light strip, the lamp beads are easy to be collided or damaged, affecting the appearance and luminous effect.
Waterproof performance	It can be completely sealed with the chip and circuit board through special encapsulation process to form a good waterproof structure, which can adapt to the humid and watery environment.	Although waterproof can also be achieved through potting and other means, but due to the gap between the lamp bead and the circuit board, water is more likely to seep in and cause damage to the lamp bead in long-term use or harsh environments.
